It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Whym’s Top 5 Santa Experiences in America

Ho Ho Ho and Happy Holidays! It’s officially that time of year, where the big man in red is working double duty to make his list and check it twice. Whether you're young or young at heart, the magic of Santa never fails to bring joy and excitement. So, grab your hot cocoa, put on your favorite festive sweater, and let's embark on a jolly adventure to discover the best places to see Santa!

1. Santa’s Workshop. North Pole, New York

Whoever said the North Pole isn’t real clearly hasn’t experienced the magic at Santa’s very real Workshop near Lake Placid in New York. You can find this Christmas magic in the mountains surrounded by arctic scenery. This destination is sure to make you feel like a child again while embracing the magic of the holiday season with rides, attractions, shows, shops and of course, Santa himself!

2. The Polar Express. Railroads across America

If the Polar Express isn’t one of your favorite holiday movies, then we would kindly like to ask you to re-access your taste in Christmas classics. Polar Express fan or not, the fact that this magical movie has been brought to life and you can experience it for yourself all over America is joyous news! Check out the schedule here.

3. Santa’s Candy Castle. Santa Claus, IN.

In Santa’s very own midwestern town, you can actually visit him and feel the magic of Christmas… prepare yourself for this….ALL. YEAR. ROUND. But, what more would you expect from the town of Santa Clause, Indiana. So great news! If the crossroads of America aren’t at the top of the travel list for the holiday season, just know that you can come visit Santa whenever your holiday heart desires. Yes, even mid-August in shorts and a tank top.

4. Christmas at Disney World. Orlando, FL.

Disney World is always a magical time, but going during the Holiday season is borderline magical overdosing. In no way are we complaining. There will be lights and joy at every corner and no matter how long your wait to meet Mr. Kringle is, you will never be bored. It’s Disney World! This is a bucket lister for children and adults alike.

5. Christmas Candylane. Hershey, PA.

Full of rides, rollercoasters, food, lights, and of course, Santa Clause and chocolate of all sorts, Christmas Candylane in Hershey, Pennsylvania is a candy-lovers Christmas come true! This also happens to be one of Rudolph’s favorite stops, according to Santa. We don’t blame him! (is chocolate good for reindeer…?)

As our sleigh ride through the enchanting world of Santa Claus comes to an end, we hope you've caught a glimpse of the sparkle and wonder that awaits you at these magical destinations. From cozy winter wonderlands to bustling city streets adorned with holiday cheer, the spirit of Santa Claus knows no bounds. So, gather your loved ones, share the joy, and make unforgettable memories as you meet the merry old man himself. Remember, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is by experiencing the magic of Santa, so go ahead and let your inner child shine bright this holiday season!
